First, ask yourself these two questions: What kind of a person do you like being with, and if you were someone else, would you want to be with you? So, in tackling the thought of how to inspire a man to be with you, you might consider the following:
Look and smell good every second, every timeBeing a slob does not inspire anyone to be in your company. Neither does too much make up and too much perfume. But if you know how to pay attention to your personal hygiene and you keep yourself looking good, you're already inspiring people (not just your man) to be around you.
Be a pleasant companionObserve the hard lines on your facial muscles, and the creases on your forehead, and the thin frown on your lips. Your body language is telling everyone that you are stressed about something, and that they had better stay away. Nope, you need to set your office worries and other baggage aside first, if you want people to be around you.
Have a good grasp of fun and humorIt is said that laughter is the best medicine. Well, you really don't need to be a stand-up comic or act like a mascot. You do need to be able to enjoy life, though, look at the lighter side of things, and be a kid at heart.
Know how to listen or simply be quietBeing a good conversationalist is not only knowing how to discuss things. It is knowing how to listen with genuine interest. It is reading the other person's body language. It is anticipating when to simply be silent and speak without words.
Smile oftenA smile is free, so give it away in generous amounts - not the plastered-on-your-face kind, of course, but one that comes from the heart and reaches the eyes.
Be a person of interestThe opposite of interesting is boring. Have a life, take interest in things and in people, live an interesting life, and you'll be an interesting person.
Don't ever cling or be needyYou want to inspire your man to want to be around you, not beg him. Don't be desperate when he's not there. Have a life of your own, do things you enjoy, have your own friends. Let your happiness come from within yourself.
Most importantly, you need to be yourself. Love yourself and take care of yourself enough and you'll inspire not only him but other people to want to be with you as well!
